  10. I recently inherited a 3b2, when I boot, life is grand until I get
  11. to the part where 'console login:' is supposed to appear. Basically
  12. it dont appear, tha machine hangs. I've tried booting from the Essential
  13. Utilites disk 1, and the floppy key, neither one seems to want to boot.

  15. My question is, Is there a way to get a bootable disk to try and ans
  16. determine if my floppy drive is dead?

  18. I have been getting NVRAM sanity failres because the battery was dead,
  19. I replaced the battery, but still get the errors. I read through the
  20. FAQ, but got very little help in there. Perhaps someone has a better
  21. idea on what is happening. I have not been able to get into firmware
  22. mode either, most likely due to the NVRAM failure?
