  27. Heh, silly me!  I took your advice and checked out the connector.  Since
  28. the external modem is a recently addition, the modem port connector
  29. was never used, and had been collecting dust since.  I cleaned out the
  30. holes for the pins, and reconnected the cable.  Now the TR light
  31. shines like new!  Thanks.

  33. But it still doesn't explain why the GS diagnostic gave me an error...
  34. Until I realized that I am running at 8 Mhz, and for something that's
  35. timing critical...  I disabled the Zip and ran the test again, and I
  36. am happy to report that both the mother and baby are fine...Oops, I mean
  37. everything is cool.
