- First, try shift booting, ie. hold down the SHIFT key while
- booting up from the hard disk, to disable all the inits and DAs. They
- can be a great cause of program crashes and headaches.
- Second, does he have a Zip or other accelerator cards installed
- in his GS? I find that my AWGS 1.1 Word Processor module freezes or
- crashes very frequently when my Zip is running at full 9 Mhz. Diabling
- it to 2.8 Mhz cures everything.
