Having had to suffer through a project using dog perfect on the NeXT, I agree with the first quote.  It was brain dead, buggy and slooooowwwwww.  Brought the 040 based NeXT to its knees and cost us at least three days wasted time.  It had some cool features and some really stupid baggage from its original design.

  16. If you want a word processor to aspire to, let it be MS Word, not Word Imperfect.  Now that Final Copy has styles, it's on my list to buy.  (I'd like to see Softwood add parallel columns for video scripts, and index/toc generation, too - the latter might be doable via Rexx scripts).
