- Jeff,
- I faced a similar problem a while back and since my needs were
- immediate, I bought a 3000T-040 (which are now on special price)
- for cheap. They have a real 25MHz '040 and standard SCSI interface.
- It runs as fast as a 4000 except for graphics stuff. The 4000
- chipset is about 4 times as fast. You don't get AGA but you do get
- ECS, up to 18MB on the motherboard, SCSI, and a slew of expansion
- possibilities. If graphics aren't a top concern, this is a great
- deal. I am happy with mine. E-mail if you have morre questions. I
- will post a review soon to c.s.a.r if there is interest.
