  17. Yes and no. AA gives you more colors in any of the old resolutions. This is
  18. definitely displayable on a 1084. Also HAM8 in such resolutions is no
  19. problem. Only those other modes that require a multisynch are not useable
  20. on a 1084, like DblPAL, etc.

  26. It's still under investigation which drives work and which are causing
  27. problems. I can already assure you that there are more than two that are
  28. ok :-). Hopefully we'll see an official compatibility list one day. But
  29. this is no easy thing as I heard: Testing is difficult (for which flaw
  30. do you have to search), and the behaviour is very dependant on the
  31. revision of the firmware onboard of the drive, and these are changing
  32. in daily cycles. Not easy to follow. *If* there is such a list, it *must*
  33. be reliable, and this is very difficult to guarantee under such circustances.

  43. I recommend the A1200. It's the cutest machine I saw since the A500 in
  44. this price range.
