  12. for the past two days i have been having strange printer warning
  13. notices.

  15. i am running os 3.51m, an epson lq850 printer, and ql510 software
  16. psoted here s year or so ago.

  18. what happens is, that as soon as the printer is called on to print, i
  19. get the  box around !! and the beep, but the printing proceeds without
  20. any problems, and completes  successfully. if i clear the warning, and
  21. then turn the printer off, i get a second warning. if i check the
  22. printer, its status is fine. i can continue to print with the
  23. it seems to have no relevance to anything which actually happens.

  25. in case there was some contamination of software, i rebooted, and the
  26. problem remains.

  28. it is more of an annoyance than a problem, but it is puzzling.
