- S 893 was signed by George Bush on October 28th, 1992. My understanding
- is that it makes all copyrighted works subject to Title 18 (?) Felony
- sanctions. The penalties include:
-
- 1. up to five years imprisonment for at least 10 copies made during
- a 180-day period where the copies have a retail value in excess
- of $2,500,
-
- 2. up to 10 years for a second or subsequent offense,
-
- 3. up to one year imprisonment in any other case.

- What a waste it is to lose one's mind, or not to have a mind is being
- very wasteful. How true that is.
