  13. Hi.  I'm in charge of a systems-oriented seminar for the next term, and for
  14. various reasons am interested in making OS support for realtime computing
  15. the focus of the seminar.  My background is operating systems and computer
  16. architecture, but I know virtually nothing about realtime (one of the
  17. reasons that I'm interested in making it the focus of the seminar is to
  18. bring myself up to speed).  Thus, I'm appealing to the net for suggestions
  19. of good fundamental papers in the area, topics that are must-studies, and
  20. perhaps suggestions for more leading edge papers and topics in the area that
  21. I can cover as time permits.  Barring suggestions of specific papers that I
  22. might consider, a list of the top journals and conferences would be useful
  23. so that I can separate the wheat from the chaff more easily.
