  11. I can see that I asked the wrong question.  Yes, .BITNET and .UUCP
  12. are "wrong" in the sense that they dictate a particular transport,
  13. and that is not what the DNS is for.  The question that I *really*
  14. meant to ask was "How can a site that currently receives all its mail
  15. over BITNET convert to receiving mail over the Internet"?  And of
  16. course the answer to that is, "Well, if there were MX records for
  17. .BITNET, then all you'd have to do is change that MX record".
