- I can see that I asked the wrong question. Yes, .BITNET and .UUCP
- are "wrong" in the sense that they dictate a particular transport,
- and that is not what the DNS is for. The question that I *really*
- meant to ask was "How can a site that currently receives all its mail
- over BITNET convert to receiving mail over the Internet"? And of
- course the answer to that is, "Well, if there were MX records for
- .BITNET, then all you'd have to do is change that MX record".
