- Would you be satisfied with something free or even public domain, or do you
- insist on the restrictions, guilt trip, and expense of shareware? ;-)
-
- There are lots of free software packages for MS-DOS that offer the services
- you mention. CUTCP supports telnet, rlogin, and FTP, among others. If you
- can be happy with telnet instead of rlogin, you can consider WATTCP with
- MS-Kermit, NCSA Telnet, ka9q (if you are an educational site or a ham), or
- the old Harvard PC/IP suite. I'm sure there are others I've forgotten.
-
- If you really, really, want shareware, you could try Win/QVTnet. It runs
- under Windows and offers telnet and FTP, among other services.
-
- Followups to comp.protocols.tcp-ip.ibmpc, please.
