- We are setting up various student labs over our campus which
- are connected to Ethernet and ultimately, to the Internet.
- We need to use RARP to insure that some fun-loving soul
- doesn't start experimenting with changing their IP number and
- all the problems that could go along with that.
- We started to use "WinQVTnet," but discovered that there
- is a pull-down window which lets the user change his
- configuration. The application we are looking for must run
- in "Windows" and not require the running of a DOS window to
- support it. It should support RARP so that the same program
- can run on all the PC's and each machine's hardware address
- would determine what IP number and host name was assigned.
- Any ideas are appreciated.
