- Hi,
-
- We are writing a socket based api set and I want it to support heterogenus
- platform use. Sun seems to have a spec out for eXternal Data Representation
- (XDR) so that two dissimilar machines can pass various data types without
- regard to hardware implementation.
-
- Our Suns speak happily toeach other, but our SCO box is left out in the cold
- because SCO's TCP/IP doesn't supply the XDR calls. Is there an XDR
- implementation for SCO (public or commercial)?
-
- please e-mail me as I rarely read this group.
- thanks in advance.
