  12. The soss I have download from ftp.uu.net seems to be only for
  13. use as an NFS server. 
  14. Has anyone tried to extend it to be able to register additional
  15. programs and procedures ?  Any comments about how difficult this
  16. would be ? Or any pointers to alternative public domain software
  17. which would fill the bill ?
