- Sorry, but I don't know your specific model. However, the readers I know
- off normally will just send the code they read over the serial line.
- So, there is normally no need to communicate with the reader, you
- are only receiving data. Changing the settings of the reader (like
- baudrate, code-type, etc) was in my case done by reading special
- codes that were printed in the manual. To find out if the reader is not
- working, or if your software is wrong, I would start with just
- connecting a terminal or a PC with kermit to the device. Using a break-
- out box you can find out the correct wiring. BTW pin 20 is the Data
- Terminal Ready.
