- The group I'm working with has a large number of 3812 printers that are
- being controlled by a NOVELL LAN. We are trying to remove the NOVELL LAN
- and still want to keep the 3812s. We are going to replace the PC on NOVELL
- with SUN Sparcs and DECs. Has anyone gotten an IBM 3812 printer to work
- from either one of these guys? Right now, I think we'd be happy with just
- text, but I would be very interested in hearing about the possibility of
- printing DVI files to it from UNIX too.
-
- Does your solution require additional cards to be installed? What about
- printer drivers? Is there any kind of upgrade path for one of these beasts
- that would let it talk PS?
-
- I need some direction on this so any input would be appreciated.
-
- Thanks in advance,
