  18. the name "Carl Lydick" as author of an article means i'm about to read
  19. a well-written post from a very knowledgeable person.  it might have
  20. derogatory language in it, but usually not, and even so it is well worth
  21. reading.  this is not net.miss.manners.go.to.your.room, so i have learned
  22. to ignore conduct which might be unacceptable elsewhere.

  26. you and any other would-be net.behaviour.policeman know that i appreciate
  27. carl's participation in this group and am glad this this buzz-noise isn't
  28. going to chase him away.  geez, even ehud knows what he's talking about
  29. most of the time (he's also quick to correct his typos ;-)
