  11. I asked some time ago on this newsgroup requesting specifics of the HPFS filing
  12. system. Since then I've had some basics posted to me by Bruce O'Neel (sp?) (ta
  13. muchly) and I've also sent a request to the AsiaPacific DAP co-ordinator.

  15. From what I got from the DAP person, the specifics are in a microsoft
  16. publication which IBM cannot give to me due to the politicking going on at the
  17. moment.

  19. So what I really need to know are ways and means to contact microsoft. Are they
  20. on the net? Is there someone in particular that I should talk to? Remember, I
  21. live in Australia so 'phoning is not (usually) an option. If someone could help
  22. here it would be much appreciated.

  24. The reason I need the internals is (a) to write a HPFS filing system for MS-DOS
  25. and (b) to write one for Linux. If anyone has done either of these before
  26. (filing systems that is) then their input would also be much appreciated.
