  17. It worked for me. I do always use network cards which are not
  18. supported by LAPS, LAN Server, PathWorks or whatever. I have used
  19. 3C507 cards until now and have tested a 3C509 already. Both cards only
  20. needed copying the matching NDIS driver to the directory where the
  21. supported ones are (ELNK16.OS2 for the 3C507 and ELNK3.OS2 for the
  22. 3C509) and editing PROTOCOL.INI. Make sure you
  23.  
  24. a) add the [<driver>] section i.e. the [ELNK3] section or what you
  25.    call it and add the contents of the ELNK3.INI which comes on the
  26.    floppy next to ELNK3.OS2.

  28. b) change all Bindings= settings to point to the new driver.
