- Hi all. I've got a question about bernoulli drives that I hope
- someone can answer. I'm a little low on HD space, so I've been
- thinking about putting a second one in my machine. Some of the
- guys at work suggested I look into bernoulli drives instead.
- What I was thinking then was having a cartridge for each OS
- (ie. one for OS/2 and one for DOS) and configuring the bernoulli
- drive as the boot device. Is this possible and do bernoulli
- drives have a fast enough access time to make this feasible for
- OS/2?
-
- Alternatively I could place either DOS or OS/2 on a cartridge
- (with the other installed on the HD) and use Boot Manager to boot
- DOS (say, on the HD) or OS/2 (installed on a bernoulli cartridge)
- Any suggestions/criticisms on this idea?
-
- Lastly, are all bernoulli's created equal? The only one I've seen
- an add for is Iomega. Who else makes bernoulli drives and are some
- better for OS/2 (ie. are there some that will NOT work with OS/2 or
- are there some that work better than others).
-
- Any help/suggestions/sources of info would be greatly appreciated.
