- In article <1hrnhuEINN8g0@uni-erlangen.de>, hmkirchh@cip.informatik.uni-erlangen.de (Hans-Joachim Kirchhoff) writes...
- ->IBM's (unofficial) reaction to the MS terminator program went something
- ->like this (quoting from memory)
- ->"Why anyone would want to stay up day and night to write a terminator
- ->program for OS/2, I cannot imagine. Windows comes with such built in."
- ->
- ->Yes, I know this is polemic, but I just love it! :-) So, according to
- ->my info (CIS, which is, where I think I read it), MS _DID_ write such
- ->a program. (The quotation could be from J. Soyring, but I honestly cannot
- ->say for sure).

- I seen to recall reading something in one of the Rags late last year about
- an OS/2 program that MS had developed that would physically damage a PS/2
- monitor. I can't remember the particulars-it was in Spencer and Son or some
- such column.
