- SUBJ: OPTI chipset and OS/2: Any problems??
-
- LH> I'm thinking of upgrading to a 486DX/33 motherboard and I wanted to know if
- LH> there are any known problems with the OPTI chipset and OS/2 compatibility?
-
- LH> I believe it was in the PC hardware newsgroup that I saw a mention of this, so
- LH> I thought I'd better ask here and not in the hardware newsgroup.
-
- My mother board has the OPTi set. It is a 486DX-33 and was running OS/2
- 1.3 last year and 2.0 since May. I have not run into any problems at all.
- I know that a number of IBM employees bought systems with the OPTi chipset
- for their home use with OS/2.
