  12. I've got the BOCA IO 2by4 and am getting ready to install it in my OS/2 system.

  14. I would like to run 4 com ports and 2 parallel ports, the full configuration
  15. for this card.

  17. Here is what my configuration will be:
  18.      COM1 IRQ4
  19.      COM2 IRQ3
  20.      COM3 IRQ2
  21.      COM4 IRQ5
  22.      LPT1 IRQ7

  24. That includes all the possibilities of IRQ's supported by the card, but
  25. doesn't give me LPT2.

  27. In the booklet that comes with it it says:
  28.      Remember that more than one parallel port can be set using same
  29.      IRQ.

  31. I was under the impression that only one IRQ could be used at a time for any
  32. one port, either LPT or COM.

  34. If I go ahead and set up LPT2 to IRQ7 (in addition to the above configuration)
  35. will it work?  Can I print to LPT1 and LPT2 at the same time?  Or am I just
  36. asking for problems?

  38. I'm expecting the updated BOCA card early next week from BOCA, with the updated
  39. chips fixing the parallel port bug with OS/2.

  41. Any answers or insight is very much appreciated...
