  26. WOW! I tried this in 800x600x256 mode, and it does work. Scrolling in
  27. a DOS window is now very good.

  45. yes. If my mangy old Trident (which is a nice enough card) can be useful
  46. for a while longer, I will be very happy. I hate knowing that the
  47. potential is there, and I can't get to it. The 800x600x16 vs 800x600x256
  48. comparison wasn't really a fair comparison, but this switch is.
