- Has ANYBODY gotten OS/2 to work in XGA modes with a microchannel XGA/2
- adapter plus an IBM 8513 or 8515? I'm on a Model 70-121 and have tried
- both the GA plus the GA+SP with no luck. It works fine in VGA mode,
- but OS/2 will not even boot if I Selective Install it into XGA mode.
- It either locks up hard just before the Workplace shell screen is to
- be painted, or it REBOOTS on me at that point. I've tried everything
- I can think of (even called IBM a few times and unfortunately, they
- were no help).
-
- If it matters: I've got a Soundblaster MCV as well as a Memory Expansion
- Adapter (non-IBM) in the other two slots. Total system memory = 10MB.
- Also, the XGA works just fine under DOS (but not a DOS VDM under OS/2).
