  24. These IBM-bashers are _absolutely_ ridiculous.  If I had any money
  25. (saving it all for MIT :)) I'd be buying IBM left and right, too.
  26. GM may be losing money, but IBM is nowhere _near_ in the kind of 
  27. trouble that American car makers are.  People seem to have forgotten
  28. that, unlike the American car makers, imo, IBM will always be here,
  29. making money, and dominating.

  31. Yesterday, in the Wall Street Journal, I saw the biggest piece of anti-
  32. IBM, pro Microsoft-Intel propaganda bullshit you ever saw.  To my
  33. surprize, Microsoft-Intel were suddenly taking over Big Blue.
  34. (at least, that is the impression it gave)  Suddenly, Windows NT
  35. was taking over the world, and OS/2 was not even mentioned.  Well, I
  36. guess it was mentioned once.  In a pie chart with 1% of the share.
  37. None of the problems with NT were mentioned, except at the end, where noone
  38. reads to anyway.

  55. I'm getting sick of Jerry Pournelle, too.  OS/2 bashing.  Won't even 
  56. install HPFS on his OS/2 test computer.  Now he is going to announce to
  57. the people that os/2 is slow.  What a bastard.
