- Case in point to the above is the POWER/4 announced 12-10-92 before
- the plunge. In comp.unix.aix it was announced a 4 processor
- shared memeory parallel mp using 42 MHz RS6000 boards. 336 MFLOPS,
- not a mainframe -- but a DEC/Alpha match -- room to up the clockrate
- and number of processors. Strategic alliances with people like Bull
- do pay off! Make room for the new capitol of IBM -- Austin!
