- ACCOUNTABILITY! It is easy to verify who a CI$ user is, impossible to
- verify who is using an Internet account. All CI$ users have to sign
- forms, pay for their time on the system, and get billed. You may not
- know, precisely, who pressed the keys on CI$, but you can tell who
- is paying for the time.

- There is a rather complicated formula for doling out CI$ revenues. Forum
- owners get a piece of the pie. For the computer support fora, this is
- the support 'fee' that you pay. IBM and Microsoft (and Borland, Novell,
- Lotus, Corel, and a whole bunch others) are rather good in providing
- minimal cost support over CI$. Some others, most notably Aldus, provide
- minimal support over CI$ unless you are a subscriber to their support
- program.
