- The problem is that you created the file on a system that did not have
- the printer driver installed -- "lpt1" is a "special" filename caught by
- the driver. When you booted from floppy, the driver was not present,
- so the filesystem just treated it like any other file, and created it.
- Now that you're running a normal system, with the driver installed, you
- can't get at it -- now it is being treated as a "special" file.

- You have two options:
- a) Just reboot from floppy, the same way you got into this mess, then
- delete it.
- b) Edit your config.sys, rem'ming out the printer driver. Reboot.
- Delete the file. Re-edit your config.sys to put the printer driver
- back in. Reboot.
