  12. I have started getting a strange error. It usually happens upon opening a
  13. folder. It says that an application (suually the name of the folder) has
  14. found a problem and can't continue. I terminate the app and then it tells
  15. me WPS has had a problem and can't continue. After this has happened I have
  16. to C-A-D or reset as there is no way for me to shut down or anything.

  18. If I display the register info (sorry can't remember the SYSxxxx value and
  19. I can't reproduce the error on demand) I get the following (every time)

  21. The system could not demand load the application's segment.
  22. PMWPMRI->DOSCALL1 is in error
  23.  
  24. It then tells me to look up HELP SYS6 - which is nothing!!

  26. Anybody know what is happening here? It has started happening since I have
  27. started PM programming and/or since I got my CDROM drive (with PDK
  28. inserted). I can't tell for sure if or which of these is the culprit. It
  29. could be something completely different.

  31. Setup: 80486DX33, 24MB RAM (ie no swapping to disk is happening EVER),
  32. 200 + 125 IDE HDD's, Trantor 130B SCSI controller (no interrupt) Texel 5024
  33. drive (Novemeber PDK with a few documentation icons in a folder on my
  34. desktop). ET4000 800x600x256 CSD Drivers.
