  14. My CD-ROM is finally working, well not quite. Thanks to all those who
  15. responded. When I tried to install the Postal Database (DOS-based), my 
  16. software said CD-ROM drive is not found. What?

  18. By the way, I am running OS/2 2.1 beta. OS/2 recognizes it. I can go to
  19. drive F: (the CD drive) and issue dir command under a DOS session. I cannot
  20. simply copy the files because it is also installing some control files/programs
  21. which are compressed. Drive F: had been the configuration of the CD even
  22. when I didn't have OS/2. Is my drive setup relevant?

  25. Current: C - Boot Manager, DOS, HPFS; D - FAT; E - HPFS; F - CD

  27. Page 1 of the installation said you need SYSINS.ZIP when you have two disk 
  28. controllers. Well, I have IDE for the harddisks and SCSI for the CD-ROM. 
  29. The instruction may apply to me. I called IBM BBS but it's not in there.
  30. Please somebody put it in hobbes or anywhere else. This may solve the
  31. problem.
