  13. Has anyone tried America Online for Windows?  Any comments?

  15. Also, are there any other online services that offer Windows interfaces?
  16. I've read the Prodigy uses some fairly intelligent caching techniques
  17. to greatly improve its apparent speed, and I'm aware of CompuServe
  18. interfaces that let you read mail and news offline.  What I am looking
  19. for is an online service that is fairly large and has features like
  20. those I've mentioned (as opposed to a BBS-type setup where time and
  21. money is wasted).  A Windows interface is a must.

  23. America Online says that it allows access to internet mail and
  24. "other services."  News, perhaps?  Does any online service allow
  25. you to read internet news?
