- I am looking for a book or some other source of information on programming
- PC hardware, specifically Video and possibly using DMA for fast data
- acquisition and such. I have Norton's GUIDE to the IBM PC and PS/2, but
- I am interesting in programming the hardware directly and not through the
- ROM BIOS. I have checked my libraries and come up with nothing, ditto with
- the local bookstores. I do not want to use assembler, I can do everything
- assembler can do in C ( or just use in-line assembley code, no flames
- please.) Has anyone come across a book or such that is "useful" ?
-
- email or post, whichever seems appropriate.
- thanks,
- -ms
