- I'm not sure what you're talking about here, but what it is asking you
- for is ESTIMATED COMPRESSION, not how much it should compress. The
- file will only compress as much as it will compress, and that's all
- there is to it. What do you think they do, simply magically throw
- away 2/3 of the data if you tell them you want 3:1 compression, or
- what?

- looking for in the way of a solution. Why do you say "the compression
