- for Minix - I need a compiler to compile the OS. My MSDOS compiler with
- a foot of documentation cost me $170 including tax and all sorts. My
- SYSV compiler cost me $300 with the OS to run it under, and the hardware
- on which to run the OS... and three feet of documentation. Let us be
- clear once and for all that $200 for an undocumented 8086 compiler upgrade
- is nice work, if you can get it. It is also a straight rip-off.
