  17. I do not need a Pascal compiler, a Modula compiler, or an APL  compiler
  18. for  Minix - I need a compiler to compile the OS.  My MSDOS compiler with
  19. a foot of documentation cost me $170 including tax and all sorts.  My 
  20. SYSV compiler cost me $300 with the OS to run it under, and the hardware
  21. on which to run the OS...  and three feet of documentation.  Let us be
  22. clear once and for all that $200 for an undocumented 8086 compiler upgrade
  23. is nice work, if you can get it.  It is also a straight rip-off.
