- Book clubs buy a limited number of books. When they are gone, they are gone.
- Publishers treat book clubs are a necessary evil. They like them because the
- clubs generate publicity for new books, but they dislike them because the
- book clubs demand and get a large discount. The MINIX book is still
- available from PH. Any bookstore can order it from them. The next edition
- is still a couple of years away.
