  16. Can someone fill me on on why ls has this behavior?  I'm using Minix 1.5.10.
  17.     If more than 5 partitions are mounted, "ls -l" will "stumble"
  18.     every time it comes to a file with a different owner or group.

  20.     From this statement, you can draw the conclusion that when 5 or fewer
  21.     partitions are mounted, this behavior does NOT exist!

  23. I'm getting a little frusterated with the long delays in ls when trying to 
  24. upgrade to 1.6.23.  (I know, just don't mount the extra partitions... but that
  25. kind of defeats the ability to access what I want when I want -- which is 
  26. often.)
