- Surely this thing is a FAQ!!! but, it is not there yet (hint hint)
- Let me mention I have a plain old (13 Dec '92) WDC 2200 IDE drive just
- for linux (gloat :).
- Apparently, the problem is either the shadow ram, or
- _most likely_ the wait state setup in the BIOS.

- Would someone more knowledgeable step forth and put all these people
- out of their misery? Would this get included in the FAQ? I finally
- read the whole thing,as every linux newbie should. I am so green I get
- "watered" every other day. The FAQ is just like that.
