  11. When compiling the kernel, the message "swap_free: weirness"
  12. came out around 15-20 times during the earlier part of the build.
  13. I've never seen this before; what does it mean?

  15. I later put a heavy load on the system under X, and the swap 
  16. partition seems to be working alright (at least according to 'free').
