  11. I've seen a number of postings here in the last few days, including one
  12. from me, asking about getting LILO working to boot Linux from the hard
  13. disk.  To date, I haven't gotten any responses, has anyone else?  I'd
  14. really like to get this working, but I haven't been successful so far.
  15. To recap, my configuration is:

  17. 386DX-20, 8mb RAM, 80387, 1.2 & 1.44mb floppies, T4000 STB PowerGraph VGA,
  18. 100mb IDE drive totally dedicated to Linux.  I have Linux running fine
  19. booting from floppy, I'd just like to get it running on the hard disk.
  20. I'm a newcomer to Unix, so even if the brief instructions for LILO that
  21. come with the SLS distribution are enough for most folks, they seem not
  22. to be sufficient for me. :-)  I'd appreciate any help in getting this
  23. to boot from the HD, it can't be that difficult, can it?
