- The kermit I got with SLS did indeed put the lock files in the wrong
- place--it stuck them in /tmp. I got the source and recompiled so
- the lock files went in /var/spool/locks or /usr/spool/uucp or something
- (actually they are linked on my system) and all is now hunky dory. I
- don't know if this has been fixed in recent SLS.
