- when you boot, you'll see which disk(s) linux sees as part of the boot process.
- you'll see /dev/hda* for the first disk and /dev/hdb* for the second.

- then when you run fdisk in SLS, you have to say 'fdisk /dev/hdb1' to get the
- second disk.

- IMPORTANT: you have to be sure that you get the right disk or you'll nuke the
- DOS one by mistake. When you run fdisk, pay attention to the 'type' of each
- disk so that you get the extended one (d:) and not the primary one (c:).
