  14. Hi, I have 2 questions about xterm and hope that somebody will help:

  16. 1.) whenever I use command line switches to fire up an xterm,
  17.     for example: xterm -bg black -fg red -fn 10x20, I will get 
  18.     the errors: xterm: unable to find usable termcap entries.
  19.     WHY? I was, however, abled to set up these switches through
  20.     .Xresources (if my termcap is not complete, then setting these
  21.     switches in .Xresources shouldn't work too right)

  23. 2.) I am unabled to copy-and-paste text from one xterm to another.
  24.     In school, I was abled to select text by the left button and
  25.     paste text with the middle button. (I try this with a two buttons
  26.     mouse as my three buttons mouse's middle button is not working)
  27.     I am pretty sure I set up my Xconfig right:

  29.     Mircosoft "/dev/ttys0"
  30.      BaudRate 1200
  31.      Emulate3Buttons
  32.     ...
  33.     ..
  34.     I try taking the line "Emulate3Buttons" out when using 3 buttons mouse,
  35.     but still it doesn't work..
  36.     What have I done wrong? and how to get the 3 buttons mouse to work?

  38. Could somebody email me a complete termcap for xterm ?
  39. BTW, I am running Xfree1.1 on Linux, 486DX33 16M, ET4000 video card and
  40. mircosoft compatible mouse.
