- Yes, the question is: should backspace send ascii code 7 or 128 (is it
- 127) that gives ^? at many places?

- I changed the linux kernel code myself [ keyboard.c ] and got it
- working. Just search for 128 and change it to 8 in the definitions of
- key_map array. (May be it is 127 in place of 128 ... I do not remember
- now:-)
