  12. When I start X, the mouse pointer goes immediately to the lower left hand 
  13. corner and barely moves as I move the mouse around the mouse pad.  The buttons
  14. are unresponsive.  I am using the settings provided in the sample 
  15. Xconfig provided with .99 linux for Busmouse with SVGA settings provided
  16. with the Xconfig for the XS3 server. I am using an Orchid 1280 SVGA, but 
  17. the problems seems to be solely with the mouse.

  19. I have tried setting the device to /dev/mouse, all /dev/bmouse*, and all
  20. /dev/ttys*.  Only /dev/ttys0 draws any response from the mouse.
