  23. The S3 clock speeds are programmable.  I believe Xfree86 requires clock
  24. speeds that are set on the chip by the manufacturer, hence only et4000, et3000,
  25. etc...  chips are supported.  XS3 is the only X server I found that can work at 
  26. all with my Orchid 1280.
