- I'm telneting into my Linux box (SLS .99PL1) from a Sun and when I enter
- the user name and hit enter, it echos ^M instead of accepting the line.
- If I then hit ^J, it accepts the input, and then every thing is ok, ie
- <enter> accepts the line at the shell level. The same thing happens
- with ftp logins, and even shell script inputs. Everything works ok when
- I telnet into the box from itself.
-
- Any ideas? Sorry if it is a FAQ.
-
- Thanks.
