  10. I recently installed the SLS 0.98pl5 distribution on my machine.

  12. I had several problems, but was able to get it up and running,
  13. install the latest kernel source, and remake the kernel.

  15. I had several problems, but the two I'd like to address are:
  16.  
  17.    1) MS Bus mouse doesn't work under X
  18.    2) Video Seven VRAM II video card not supported.
  19.  
  20. Upon boot I kept seeing the detection of and installation of
  21. three different mouse drivers.  When I ran X, the mouse wouldn't
  22. work, so I thought maybe there was a problem with having too
  23. many mice, so I changed the kernal to only install a MS Bus
  24. mouse driver.  Still didn't work.  :-(

  26. Upon boot, I was not given a proper choice of video modes to
  27. chose from.  Some of the resolutions I had to chose from were
  28. not available on my video card.  I I changed the kernel to
  29. look for the Video Seven first rather than last, and I was
  30. given a proper choice of options.  None of which would actually
  31. change to the proper video mode...

  33. So my two questions are:
  34.  
  35.      1) Any ideas on why the MS mouse isn't working under X?
  36.      2) Anyone have a Video Seven working under Linux?
