- HELP!.. I've been searching my system for the 'pwd' command,
- and like, I can't find it! The reason for me searching for 'pwd'
- is because I'm having major problems with the permission flags.
-
- Everytime I log on as a non-root user, I get the following:-
-
- Welcome to Linux SLS ....
- ....etc
-
- Your password will expire in 0 days.
- No mail.
- shell-init: Permission denied
- pwd: Permission denied
- : Permission denied
- #
-
- I know, this isn't the first time I've posted this problem up,
- and nothing seems to work! Actually, it worked the first time I
- installed linux, but after screwing around with stuff like lpr,
- getty_ps and stuff like that, the old config files have been
- like totally been screwed completely..well..not exactly screwed,
- but the non-root user login is now completely screwed...
-
- Can someone please help me with this hair-tearing dilemma??
-
- Also, while I'm at it, How do I stop the server from giving
- me the stupid "Your password will expire in 0 days."????
-
- Thanks in advance....
