- I finally compiled the 0.99 kernel with no major problems, except when it
- boots, after reporting all the devices it has connected, it says
- kernel panic: cannot mount root
- or something like that. I have my root filesystem as /dev/hda2. It's a 30Mb
- minix partition. I fsck'ed it and it's ok. Also, I've had no other problems
- woth any other kernel version before this. Oh, and I did change the line at
- the beginning of the makefile for the root filesystem to be /dev/hda2.
- So... does anyone have any idea what the problem is?
- Thanks in advance.
